This month, we’re celebrating 10 years of Ascentant Accountancy.
In 2016, our founder, Kevin Drew, took a leap of faith and started the business from a caravan at the bottom of his parents’ garden. With a background in legal finance but no experience of running a business, he set out to create something different: an accountancy practice that was approachable, supportive and genuinely focused on people.
A decade later, Ascentant has grown into a team of 15, with offices in Derby and Ripley, supporting clients across a wide range of services, including our specialist legal cashiering offering for law firms across England and Wales.
As we’ve been looking back through a few photos of Ascentant through the years, it’s been a reminder of just how much has happened over the last decade. We’ve embraced new technology, helped businesses navigate challenges, supported our communities, and welcomed countless clients through our doors. But through all that growth, our values have remained the same.
We believe in plain speaking, building relationships, being accessible and making sure people feel comfortable asking for help when they need it.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’d like to thank everyone who has been part of the journey – our clients, team members, partners, suppliers and community organisations. Your support, trust and encouragement have helped make the last 10 years possible.
